Me got no coffee :
Hi Saif, I went to view this Natwest ,its interesting property as part of my ongoing investment strategy and wider search for suitable opportunities within the property market.
After carefully considering the location, potential rental yield, capital growth prospects, development possibilities and, of course, the general feeling I got when walking around the place pretending I knew exactly what I was looking at, I decided to put forward an offer of £1.4 million.
Unfortunately, the offer was not accepted.
I remain somewhat disappointed, but I completely understand that property is a business of negotiation, patience and timing. Sometimes the numbers work, sometimes they don’t, and sometimes you make a £1.4 million offer despite having absolutely no idea where £1.4 million is actually going to come from.
Nevertheless, I remain committed to identifying the right investment opportunities. I am continuing to look at properties, assessing the market and keeping my eyes open for something that represents genuine value. I’m particularly interested in properties with strong potential, whether that be through rental income, refurbishment, redevelopment or simply buying something that looks expensive enough to make me feel important when I tell people about it.
The search continues.
There are plenty of opportunities out there, and I believe that with the right property, the right timing and the right financial backing — preferably somebody else's — something could eventually come together.
So, for now, I will continue viewing properties, making ambitious offers and walking around estate agents' offices with the confidence of someone who has absolutely no intention of admitting that he checked his bank balance before making the offer.
Still looking.
Still investing.
Still dreaming.
And just to clarify…
I am not actually an investor.
I'm just a dreamer with Rightmove, a calculator and absolutely no sense of financial realism. 😂
