No, that is inaccurate. There are roughly 7,000 active Starlink satellites in orbit, though SpaceX has launched around 8,000 in total.

so if there were this many in the sky it would block some of the sun similar to how stars dim when plants orbit them. I dont think there are this many satellites orbiting earth
