@youngrichrooted: I’ve never understood why we act like you have to be one or the other. I love saving money. I also love spending it. I can get excited about hitting a savings goal and then immediately start thinking about what I want to buy with the money I didn’t spend. 😂 My goal was never to become someone who doesn’t spend. It’s to become someone who knows when, why, and how much she wants to spend. Someone who spend intentionally and not mindlessly. To spend on things that truly improve the quality of life not just the feeling of one moment. My goal for saving is to create and increase my peace. To create options for myself so I have the freedom to choose what’s best for me without fear, shame, or guilt. To be able to make sound decisions based on what’s best for my life not based on what I fear I can afford. So yes, I’m both.
