He's a well established character people were theorising about back in 1.0 same goes with Sparkle, Hoyo pulled Nihilux out of their ass for this singular planet and except me to believe that's THE Aha sorry but no.

i just really wanted the Aeons to be these incompressible concepts with forms that are wild and untamed. the Aeons shouldn't be given humanoid forms that are easier for THEM to be around humans. THEY should be kept as ambiguous beings like THEY have been. plus I liked Nihilux's comic artist look way more than her 'Aha' form

I’m genuinely PISSED that sampo got essentially NOTHING on planarcadia. They left him in such a good spot for come back an be a host of aha or even aha themselves, but NO they couldn’t POSSIBLY IMAGINE doing anything like that. I didn’t really like penacony, but it was the last planet that actually felt slightly cohesive and like it wasn’t just trying to get you to like the characters so you’d spend money on the game.

No fr, imagine if like 2 years later, when we hopefully get Screwlum as a playable character, oh turns out he is the real Nous. And their argument will be “Oh to protect itself against Irontomb and Lygus, Nous did some Ultron shit and transferred to Screwlum’s body so now he is the aeon”. And imagine a year later, a playable Aeon gets nerfed by some Cipher Summer version SP.

I think making a playable Aeon character takes away from them being those cosmic beings largely beyond our understanding, especially when it's this character that just showed up in Planarcadia So I'm kind of hoping that this is Hoyo giving us fake clues, and narratively just Nihilux making shit up to hide her actual history and power like I know it's probably not that but I'm coping😭

i dont even care about her being aha, im just disappointed that her new design is castorice's gown with sparxie's color scheme, i dont even think them being in a human body is a problem but making her generic anime girl #57 is something we should be praising and gagging over, just like we shouldn't do the same when they repeat the same 3 male designs

Releasing Aeons also severely downplays their profoundness and "mysterious" factor. Because you're telling me that a literal god can just br downplayed to waifu/husbando no. 69??? And the argument that "they released Aha first because their the closest to humans" just becomes irrelevant because obviously Hoyogames won't pass up on the opportunity to release Lan, Xipe, the final Fuli, Nanook and other aeons for cash... I said it again and again no matter how good a gacha game's worldbuilding or cosmology it will always be underplayed because of capitalism... Anyways that's the end of my TedTalk.

The redesign is pretty meh, specially the main form. The shadow is alright, I just wish they had designed the main form more inspired by Aha's appearance, with all of the masks and the shadow sillhouette behind. Its just a regular dress with no real thought behind it, they couldve even based it on their pixelated form and itd be better... It isnt giving queen of hearts to me either

for the larpers, cyrene doesn't count. cyrene is a pure child of anāsrava, and just like any other child of anāsrava, they're all shards of fuli. but since cyrene chose to remain in the past, she can never truly ascend to fuli at the end of the universe.

Nihilux did a bunch of nothing to Help Planarcadia at all, after throwing Evanescia in the leviathan mouth, then goes to Astropolis in Panic asking IPC for Help, is that the level of power of one of the most powerful Aeon in the Lore, haha, I didn't get it at all, Also Acheron is on Astropolis... I have a Guess, that could be fun... First, there is a chance that the reality of Nihilux being Aha has a lot of problems, so that is not really simple... and With the Fact Acheron is in Astropolis, also Kuchiba acting like Polka (she may be Polka), and Acheron is trying to track Device IX... there's a possibility of Nihilux not being the Main thing on the situation of Planarcadia at all...

ngl but realising playable eons is the worst thing ever. what i loved about starrail, is that aeons have always been seen as much higer then us and much stronger then any playable character, and then... shes just here... no matter how good her animations would be, now the whole vision of arons beaing to high to even notice mortals, now we just gonna be playing some dumbed down woman who just gonna be like "omg iam elation hihihi". ive been playing since 1.0 and elation has always been my favorite path, but now I can barely stand it
