@whositfornow: Why is finding reliable home contractors so difficult? I’ve been trying since July to get gutter replacement, electrical work, and a water heater replaced. Vermont and my usual propane company no showed for a cleaning and doesn't return calls. Since then, I've left messages for seven others and not gotten any to call. Same luck with email and online contact forms. Been trying for months.

Very busy but also avoid residential work like the plague it is. Homeowners nowadays are far too entitled, think they know everything, and argue every detail of a job that it’s simply not worth it
