I was born in Nigeria and today I'm no longer with my parents. we are no longer in the 60s. your retirement plan should not be in the hands of your child/children, that child has his or her own future. you cant tie their future for your old age. I disagree with this. instead plan for your future by investing back home. get money employ people to take care of you in your old age.

You don’t need to adopt any children. Have insurance that will pay you when you are incapacitated or old to support yourself . You still have pension to draw from , you can have an aid if you are living in Nigeria
