"After 11 years of living my dream around the world as a professional wrestler, I've decided to finish something I started a long time ago. I have officially reenlisted in the Army National Guard." He said it's not the end of his wrestling career. "But make no mistake. Wrestling isn't over. Flip Gordon isn't finished. I'll be back in the ring. I'll be back in Mexico. And I'll be back representing CMLL." He signed off: "Soldier. Wrestler. Husband. Father. The Super Soldier of Lucha Libre will return." Gordon, from Kalispell, Montana, has been a regular for CMLL in Mexico City after runs in Ring of Honor, Impact and the U.S. independents.
