Please ai engineering or software engineering? And why ?

Black_dad_engineer :

I think a big part that is missing I. The comments is that you cannot be an ai engineer without being a software engineer. It’s the prerequisite to ai engineering. Notice he said “upgrade yourself”

Build ai tools using ai agents

What does that mean ? Is it having MCP tools and agents integrated as steps in Ci/Cd ? Infra Monitoring agents that connect to Prometheus , Grafana . Building your own harness wrapper for devs to have their own proprietary coding agent ? Or are you just contributing to the Kiro product
