All because I wasn’t an arranged bride from Bangladesh. She hated that my husband found love young here in the UK and fought for us. She stayed silent just because she was pregnant, trying to "prove a point." Now, 3 months after losing my baby girl, they’re trying to shove their newborn boy in our faces. Jokes on them—a baby is a blessing regardless of gender, and we couldn't care less. This toxic side of South Asian culture is disgusting. I pray Allah makes things easier for my husband and me, accepts our duas, and lets karma handle every single person who hurt us.
