Whoever invents a Time Machine will be very rich, and the first people to pay will be all of us survivors of narcs. Yes, I love my kids, but not only did he greatly damage me now he is doing it to them and they are Young Adults such a tender time. I thought housemaid was pretty triggering, and I knew in my gut that when she drove out of that gate, she was crying tears of joy because that’s exactly what I did when we got divorced.

It’s an extreme example but one I wanted to talk about was obsession, it came out before we split(11 years, 19-30yo)…. With what I’ve seen I think it would make me sick to watch it now. It’s been exactly like breaking from a spell and looking back at being used for 11 years to this man I’m now not even and probably wasn’t for a long time even attracted too anymore :( I think it’s the absolute self abandonment that’s so jarring
