reese’s spider cookies🕷️🍪 recipe: ¾ cup salted butter, browned (170g) ¾ cup brown sugar (150g) ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g) 1 large egg (50g) 1 tbsp heavy cream (15g) 1 tsp vanilla paste (5g) 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g), spooned & leveled 2 tbsp cornstarch (16g) ½ tsp baking soda (3g) ¼ tsp salt (1.5g) dark chocolate chips, measure with your heart reeses cups dark chocolate squares, for stuffing for decorating: extra reeses cups melted milk chocolate candy eyeballs brown the butter until golden and fragrant. let it cool slightly until warm, not hot. whisk together the warm browned butter, brown sugar & granulated sugar until glossy. add the egg, heavy cream & vanilla and whisk until smooth. fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda & salt until just combined. fold in the chocolate chips. scoop the dough and flatten slightly. stuff each cookie with a piece of dark chocolate & a reeses cup, then seal and shape into a cone like ball. this helps keep the cookies thick. bake at 375°F for 15-17 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are still soft. while the cookies are still warm, gently shape them for that perfect round cookie shape. let them cool slightly. for the spiders, place a reeses cup upside down on top of each cookie to create the spider body. use melted milk chocolate to pipe 3 legs on each side, then add 2 small dots on the front for the candy eyeballs. let the chocolate set before serving & enjoyyy 🕷️ (these cookies are meant to be thick! mine werent too thick bc i forgot some flour… BUT for the best texture, make sure your flour is spooned into the measuring cup & leveled rather than scooped directly from the bag.) #reeses #spider #cookies #Recipe #baking
