@Uganda aviation.. Am not a pilot & the closet ive come to a cockpit was when i took a selfie in a chartered plane in Cape Town.
Which factors are put into consideration when determining the direction to fly.?
Honestly,my answer would be north inorder to fly over that cliff or raised landscap.
Seems Uganda now has a number of air stripes capable of landing small aircrafts but these landing facilities look to be privately owned and managed. Can the public access them or it has to be a private arrangement with whoever owns and runs the aircraft landing facility.
On a very positive side, the aviation industry in Uganda has come from far. From being almost non existent to being very visible in the public eye. The only or main concern left is the actual running and management of the industry and national carrier to be specific. Alot remains to be desired and something has to be done immediately. The first commercial and impression that you see about a country your visiting starts with the national aircraft. From the service to the state of plane your travelling in to the attitude of the carbin crew tells alot about what the people in that country are like and what they hold dear to them as a peole.
Again on the bright side, we managed to register and acquire brand new Bombardier and Airbus aircrafts. That's one thing done now let's focus on running the company and entire aviation industry well to a global standard.
