@doctorbree: I think if you can afford it, I do think resurfacing in your 30s is an excellent way to get AHEAD of aging. Of course at this age no one shows heavy signs of aging but cells are still young enough to produce a dramatic cellular change #chemicalpeel #co2laser #skincare

Okay but for melanated skin? Not sure which to get due to sensitivity.

What would you recommend for a 30 year old? How many times a year do you recommend a resurfacing laser?

I'm 38 and I've been on the fence for years about lasers because I have hEDS. I can't get a straight answer from any doctor about whether the collagen/fibroblast benefits are the same, or if remodeling with hEDS skin will be worse than not getting lasers. Any thoughts?

if we are fitzpatrick type V... are resurfacing lasers safe for us? besides retin A/azelaic acid, what are the strongest topicals we can use to delay photoaging?

I was told it’s not recommended on tan or brown skin for risk of hyperpigmentation. The intensity can be reduced but that it will just defeat the purpose of the treatment. Any thoughts?

I got a coolpeel to help me with closed commedomes that I’ve had my whole life. This is the first time I’ve ever not had texture on my skin. I’m hoping the retinol will now keep it this way 🥰
