@teresondupuy: God may be saying no to you right now. Let the answer be no. You may not be able to see yet what is being protected. You may not understand why the door closed. You may still be grieving the person, the future, or the life you thought you were supposed to have. But if that relationship was filled with manipulation, gaslighting, dishonesty, instability, or pain, then maybe the loss is not punishment. Maybe it is protection. You do not have to force open a door that God is trying to close. You do not have to convince someone to become safe. You do not have to keep calling chaos “love” because you are afraid there is nothing better. There is. Safe love. Honest love. Consistent love. Reciprocal love. Love that does not require you to abandon yourself. So let this season transform you. Let it strengthen your boundaries. Let it heal your attachment wounds. Let it teach you what you will never accept again. And trust that what is being removed may be making space for something far more aligned. Sometimes God’s no is the beginning of a much better yes.
