just saw my dermatologist and I asked about adding azelaic to my routine with tretinoin and she said nah, don't bother and recommended getting an OTC vitamin c with ferulic and vit E in it

strongly disagree. i used tret for 2 years and was very unhappy with the results (still broke out and very slow to fade hyperpigmentation), until i introduced azelaic acid. AA was a game changer for me for my acne and hyperpigmentation. Cleared my acne in 3 months and accelerated the rate at which my hyperpigmentation faded + evened my skin tone. i highly highly recommend this combo. if i had to choose one over the other, personally azelaic acid > tret. im very happy with the results.

I’m 60 and have never been into skincare. Two months ago started prescription azelaic acid cream plus .025 Tretinoin because of a TikTok, and when I tell you the improvement in texture and seeing fresh, glowing skin is INSANE. After only two months! I don’t have melasma, but I do have cystic acne scars, but even my kids have said “you look good mom” and it’s been a long time since they’ve said that! I love it. ♥️😂♥️

Sorry but I disagree. I’ve never had such clear, plump even looking skin in my life and I’ve been using retinol since I was 25 and I’m now 39. I started incorporating Azelaic acid as of a few months ago and holy moly my skin is SO different now!

This made me follow you, thank you for validating what I suspected. The only thing that helps me with pigmentation is tranxemic acid and licorice. Maybe nianciamide in higher concentrations.

I don’t believe that azalea acid doesn’t have any anti-aging benefits. We’ve been trying to have a baby for like 10 years now, so I can’t use tretinoin. The only active I use is 15% azaleic acid gel. These are my results after six months.

And in hhe Philippines they are hoarding Azelaic acid particularly the Skinoren and selling it for way higher price. Azelaic avid is just "so so" anyway. It's tretinoin that works wonders and can be use in conjunction with copper peptides or Vit. C serum in the morning rather thab overhyped Azelaic Acid.

Here’s the reason I don’t listen to derma doctors because you have to follow guidelines and be safe and all that. I listen to results and my skin - it’s my ride or die and DEFINITELY NOT A HYPE
