underwear should not be included in that. the parents should provide that separately from the back to school shopping. however you don't NEED 2 weeks worth of individual outfits. you need enough to wear something clean every day and don't run out in between laundry days. if she WANTS more outfits that's fine, but it doesn't mean she should get more than the other kid.

Guys can also get away with just boxers, but she might also want different kinds of underwear for different situations. A couple different bras for lighter and darker tops, a sports bra or something for gym class, underwear for when she's on her period or gym or day to day. Especially with her age, a lot of her older stuff might not fit as well, or she just wants to be set up with new stuff to last her through the school year.

I think mom should take her to buy some of those extra things. He says if she needs more underwear he'd buy it, well she needs bras. Mama going with her should be the supervision needed, just make sure mom has the money.

I can agree that some things might cost more money for girls. But I’ll also add many many kids do not get handed 600$ to be clothes at the beginning of the school year. I didn’t, and neither did my sister, and she survived without any purchases

Yes, ass for the way he thinks like the comment says (she got a great deal- if anything the boy decided to settle cuz he wanted to buy that game) but she doesn’t need more money. Sorry I’m sure she has clothes in her closet right now… she can’t use that? 🤣

It also depends on what bra size she has and what breast shape. I have a different breast shape from the regular and also bigger ones, so the only bras that are more comfortable are the really expensive ones.
