My brother has an incredible multi colored hair piece of a family tree including hair from each persons favorite dog and horse. Each name is listed on a drawing on the back of the frame.

I have 2 beautiful pieces. I collect mourning jewelry too I have a lot of hair brooches. Sometimes they did use animal hair for volume.

There was lady that owned a museum of this type of artwork. I had to look it up. It's Leila's Hair Museum. From what tI can tell it closed last year after she passed. I saw it in a Discovery Channel show.
