A dispute over a $65 monthly parking garage contract allegedly turned deadly when a Minnesota man is accused of fatally shooting three apartment employees inside a leasing office. Authorities say Tsegaab Binessu, 30, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder in Sunday’s shooting, which left Nansi Fuentes Zambrano, 25, Adam Wilderwing, 43, and Dena Silcox, 56, dead. According to a probable cause affidavit, Binessu had called the leasing office earlier that day hoping to cancel a parking garage agreement after deciding to sell his car. Staff reportedly informed him the contract had just been renewed and could not be canceled. He allegedly responded that he would come to the office to discuss it in person. Investigators say surveillance video shows Binessu speaking with employees before pulling a handgun from his waistband, chambering a round, and opening fire. Police allege Wilderwing was shot multiple times after raising his hands, while Silcox pleaded, “No, no,” before she was also fatally shot. Authorities believe Zambrano was trying to escape through a window when she was killed. A roommate later contacted police, telling investigators Binessu returned home after the shooting and admitted he had argued with apartment management before killing three people. The roommate said Binessu had recently quit his trucking job, planned to join the U.S. Navy, and wanted to cancel the parking contract to save money after selling his vehicle. Police recovered 21 spent 9mm shell casings at the scene. Investigators arrested Binessu the following night while he was allegedly driving Zambrano’s vehicle. Officers said he was carrying his U.S. passport, Social Security card, firearm permit, and an empty magazine. Following his arrest, Binessu reportedly told detectives he was frustrated with the U.S. immigration system, claiming years of trying to bring his former wife and children from Ethiopia had cost him his marriage, business, and peace of mind. When questioned about the shootings, he requested an attorney. Binessu remains jailed in Ramsey County on three counts of second-degree murder. His initial court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday.#fyp #viral #crime
