Here let me help… minimum wage hasn’t been raised in decades. People can’t afford to keep a roof over their head and pay for food, some choose to live in the great outdoors because of circumstances. And a lot of us are one or two paychecks away from having to be there as well.

Homelessness it's a problem in SB and coastal cities in CA. rangers and City do a good job with most clean up. if you go online and document trash and where it is with the CITY of SB they try to follow through with the request. we had homeless squatting near our condo and had to contact police and City numerous times. there are four shelters here SB some ppl don't want this? You have to be sober three out of the four. Volunteers are always needed here SB and shelters. I know Westmont college was serving coffee ☕ & dessert today @ casa cacique. I want to thank ER @ Cottage, City Fire & Police social services and MH in SB they do an excellent job

California spent $24 billion on homelessness and housing programs over a five-year period encompassing the 2018–2023 fiscal years.- so ask your democratic representatives where your money went, cause nothing changed at all.

So… the problem is you want people to mow lawns and clean houses and serve you food and do the jobs that keep your lives happy and convenient but no one is willing to pay them a wage so they can live close to the area where they work. So they are homeless. This is actually a simple fix.
