the lining protects the suede from stretching and becoming deformed. You should remove this lining and replace

Can you just cut a slit in it? Is it bc the lining is too tight or it’s too bulky and making the skirt too tight? You could remove the lining but any moisture or oils from your skin will get into the suede.

Hi Maggie :) you can remove the linig but I wouldnt just cut it cause it won’t look nice from the inside but it doesnt affect the skirt at all. The only thing I would say that can happen is that it can transfer a bit of color to the skin but that also applies to the outter part so it’s not the biggest problem. Send it to the tailor anyways because since they can remove it they can aldo replace it if you want. Everything with lining lasts longer ☺️Hope I helped you queen 🤍✨

Your skin will probably turn purple from the dye in the suede. Suede is really hot so you want to have a lining up against your skin. You also don’t want oils/dirt from your skin getting into the suede.

why lining: to allow heavy leather to look effortless/flowy. suede will “stick” to your skin and not allow the fabric to move freely. so: it will look good on a posed photo still, but not so much in natural movement.

Well i think if you remove the lining there’s nothing to protect the suede from sweat. And since u can’t wash suede it would be a problem. Maybe you can cut the lining open in one side, or both, so it gives more room but still protects a little? 🌸 or u can cut it all out and wear something under thats doesnt take up too much space underneath

I would cut a new lining from fabric, stitch it super close to the original waist seam (like leaving 0.5 cm) and then cut the original lining away. It will fit you and also protect the suede and your skin

Just cut the sides of the lining first. If it doesn’t work cut it out completely its fine

I can imagine that the lining is there because of dry rubbing, or to take tention off the seams if the suede is thin it might be prone to tear. Pull a little at the leather and the seams and rubb a dry white sock on the backing of the lether. If everything seems fine then cut the lining. ☺️

I think you can just cut a slide on one or bitch sides so it can fit but you have to hem the edges.
