So it gets checked daily, sometimes hourly. Margin is a different feeling. So is churn. So is what a client really costs you by the time they've been delivered. Those numbers can tell you a great month was worse than it looked, and nobody wants to open that on a Friday afternoon. So it sits. The business keeps growing, which feels like permission to keep not looking. The fix is unglamorous. One hour, once a week, same time, opening the numbers you'd normally skip. Bring somebody who will say the uncomfortable thing out loud. You don't have to become a finance person.
