People always assume you think she hated him if you say she didn’t love John romantically. They also assume that means he wasn’t loved at all when he was so loved by both Fran and Michaela and spent his last days with them very happily. Fran was raised to believe marrying a man and having children was everything so of course she’d find a man who she was fond of and think it was romantic but the moment she kissed him you could tell she didn’t feel any sort of passion that one would feel towards a romantic partner. She felt so much anxiety when it came to their intimacy because she was forcing herself to feel things for him that she couldn’t in order to have a child. Romantic love is not the only kind of love so it shouldn’t be a bad thing that what she felt for him deep down was closer to friendship

I hated this at first, but I’ve decided to forget about the John and Francesca from the book. Francesca loved him romantically in the book, but that’s obviously not the story they’re telling in the show. I was SO mad at Jess Brownell for that 🙄 but honestly, the actresses are perfect, so I’m going to watch this as a completely new story and not compare it to “when he was wicked”

they didn’t really followed the books with this story. she loved her husband but wasn’t in love with him which is normal with this story because she is a lesbian and she felt something was wrong with her she isn’t Bi because if they made a bi representation she would have been dearly in love with her husband like in the book. she isn’t cheating she just can’t feel with she feels for a woman for a man. and plus bridgerton already had bi, gay, queer, trans representation..time for lesbians, no? (and I am a bi girl saying it) (if you loved the stories of the book stick to it. it will always be there for you)
