As an adult collector I’m not a fan but for kids maybe the 2 versions are ment to target 2 different reading levels? Like the full length one is for slightly older children and the other is for younger kids

I just wish the doll would come with her actual book, idk why we need an abridged version or a journal when they have a meet book. However, i don't necessarily mind the journals instead of a meet book and i thought it was cute to do the journals for Nikki and isabel Hoffman that way if you bought both dolls you don't end up with just a second meet book.
