How to sew my apron🪡🧵✨ Since a bunch of people have asked for it, this video is all about how to sew your own version of the apron I wear in every video. Now I am not at all a pattern maker, which is why I haven't made a pattern for this, just this instructional video. All of the measurements given are suited for my own body. Do you have a large chest and the bib is too small? Make it wider! Are you really tall and the skirt feels short on you? Lengthen it! This apron is just 5 rectangles sewn together so take your measurements and adjust accordingly. Measurements: - Bib: 23cm wide by 25cm long - Two Straps: 100cm long by 14cm wide each - Waistband: 176cm long by 14cm wide - Skirt: 81cm wide by 72cm long Materials needed: - Pins - Fabric scissors - Thread - Two buttons - 2 meters of fabric - A sewing machine There will be quite a bit of leftover fabric but this way every piece gets cut out and doesn't have to be pieced together. I suggest making using thrifted curtains or tablecloths. I made my blue apron from linen curtains I was no longer using. I also like using cotton or linen as I find they are easier to work with. Also a sewing machine isn't strictly necessary. You could sew this together by hand with just a needle and thread. But the machine does make things much faster.
