many vegans also ignore the slavery, exploitation, and trafficking that happens within the agricultural industry that gives them their vegan/vegetarian diet. yet eating plants isnt immoral but the way which many are gained is, same with the meat industry.

nobody has to go vegan, just reduce your meat intake and try to only eat meat thats actually good for you. we all know how much water the meat industry consumes, reducing your meat intake doesnt make as much of a difference as going vegan does, but its still much better than not doing anything at all

This! I definitely respect why someone can be vegan and it’s valid. But then people get on their soap box and try to demonize meat completely which is kind of silly. There are ethical ways to gain and eat meat and for some people going vegan isn’t possible. Humans are omnivores and the beautiful thing about that is choice.

yes! like buying from local farmers or companies that treat their livestock well when they are alive and kill them humanely is okay in my opinion. it is the circle of life, but animal abuse doesn’t need to be done to complete it.

also by the way, a lot of neurodivergent people have safe foods that include meat! I also hate the taste and texture of most cheap protein sources that aren't meat, so it's extremely hard for me to get protein without spending a ton of money
