A huge reason why I got my first engineering internship is because I did a ton of research on what the company I was interviewing at worked on

Hey man i have a question, should i do EE or ME? I like stuff from both, i like that EE has a lot of fields in tech, and i like the designing aspect of ME, i have a 10 day window to choose one of them to major so please I'd love an answer from you🙏

After freshman year of college I got a job when I was just trying to go for an internship. Good pay and I can still work during school, allows me to build income and gain experience. Talk to the right people and advertise yourself and your ability.

Is it worth applying for internships with a 3.0 GPA minimum if I have a 2.7? I've only found 3 posted for my area, and 2 of them have thay requirement. The third has a mandatory drug test, but I won't be home in time to submit it.

What’s a reliable way to look for internships without these college fairs? My college has none for engineering students

I’m confused on when I’m supposed to be doing an internship? Summer? Winter break? I don’t get the timeline.

Just got a internship with Barrick! im a junior and have been doing internships with my school for the past 2 summers. talk to your school, see if they have professors looking for student researchers over the summer! its a great thing to look into to get resume stuff. apply for internship and if you dont hear anything by February or March talk to your school and professors in your major!

where have you been finding the smaller firms and their postings? I’m not an engineering student but any places to find would still be helpful to me

Hey so I have a question. Do you think it’s good to have an ego? For example the summer of going into sophomore year of college I landed an internship with Jacobs engineering group. Per ENR rankings, it’s one of the top engineering company, and I feel like after I did my that internship I tend to have an ego saying that I would only go for big/well known firm. What are your thoughts on that?

When I message people on LinkedIn who are Alumni from my school and people who are recruiters for companies that I am applying to what should I message them, and if you have to choose between messaging an Alumni or a talent recruiter which should I choose?
