I’m a graphic designer and I can understand how looking at something for so long makes you kind of blind to what’s in front of you… That’s why we generally have other people check our work. Especially for brands like Converse. So many eyes saw this before it went out. This was a conscious choice.

As a creative director in the corporate space, the amount of people this has to go through, so many presentations about different concepts and what they mean and what we want customers to get out of it or take action on…there’s no way—absolutely no way—this isn’t intentional. It is that deep. We have to remember these ads are made by professional story tellers. And this is the story they prioritized to tell.

I feel like these companies are just pursuing a “there is no bad publicity” marketing strategy. It’s vile, but they don’t care because people are talking about it. And that’s the point.

by no means does it look like someone hanging to me it looks like a person holding shoes. like it doesnt even imply the person is hanging, I will say now that you point out it does kinda look like a hood but before you said anything I didn't think hood at all just a nice use of the light from the other point of the star. if you had said satanic id of believed it more
