I was walking home yesterday and this random dog started following me for like ten minutes, so I stopped and said to him, mate, are you lost or do you just fancy me, and the dog literally sat down and stared at me, so I took that as a yes. Then this girl came running around the corner shouting sorry, that’s my dog, and I said yeah, I figured, he’s been following me like he owes me money. She started laughing and said he doesn’t normally like strangers, and I said well clearly I’ve got something special, and she looked at me and goes maybe he just has questionable taste. I didn’t even know what to say, so I just nodded at the dog and said your owner is a bit rude mate. Then the dog walked over and licked my hand, and she goes see, he likes you. I said yeah, I can tell, but I’m not sure about you yet. She just stood there staring at me for a second and said fair enough, then walked away with the dog. I went home thinking I’d somehow been flirted with by both of them and still got rejected.
