❣️Sugar Cookie Recipe❣️ ❣️Ingredients: 2½ cups ap flour ¾ tsp baking soda ¾ tsp salt ¼ tsp cream of tartar 1 cup butter, at room temp 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar + ½ cup for rolling 1 egg + 1 yolk 1 tbsp vanilla ❣️Method: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Whisk the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix the butter and sugar on until light and fluffy, for about 2 minutes. Then, add in the egg yolk and vanilla, and mix until combined. Add the dry ingredients and fold it in until just combined. Using a 1.5 oz cookie scoop, or about 2 tablespoons, scoop the dough and roll each cookie into a ball and then into the granulated sugar. Arrange the cookies on a sheet pans, leaving 3 inches of space between each one. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until edges are just set and the centers look slightly underbaked.
