@jetsetsoph_: Filming in the middle of the day can be so frustrating when the lighting just doesn't work with the scenery. These two easy steps can make it go a little smoother 1. Film the shaded spots first. If the area is constantly under shade, you don't want to wait for the sun to go down where it would be TOO dark. This will give you some time out of the heat, and some time for the sun to potentially change positions. 2. Get the hero shots first. These are the spots you NEED for the video, so make sure you have something usable before worrying about all the extra B-roll. Then, if you have time or the lighting gets better later, you can go back and reshoot them.
