Nobody could be killed? They intentionally killed off Morph in the very first episode to show that there were stakes. Yes, Mr. Sinister brought him back down the road, but I am pretty sure that was not originally part of the plan.

The 9 one is weird, usually shows have the main character experience danger before the commercial break, so the watcher would want to see the rest, to know if they’ll make it, keeping viewer to continue the episode.

#9 is opposite of how things were on g.i. Joe….. they seemed to always give the impression of someone dying before the commercial break, only to return….back things up 2-3 seconds and show that the person actually narrowly escaped death
