Chronically late people are so disrespectful. They never care that their tardiness creates a ton of stress on friends and family. Honestly I feel if you’re going to be late just don’t accept the invite.

My uncle is always late to shit and one time my mom told him the start time was an HOUR before it actually was and then he was MAD he was on time 😭😭 like stop acting ungrateful

I used to tell my mum earlier times for this very reason. Happened up until she was around her 50’s. Something has flipped and she’s now perfectly on time nearly every time.

I have a couple of friends that is ALWAYS 30-45 minutes late. I tend to arrive like 5 minutes early or on time, so I always need to wait for them. It's exhausting. Please, don't be that type of friend

I bet he has the time blindness excuse doesn't he? I have time blindness and some of my friends do too, somehow for us that means we are ready to go waaaayyy too early and also arriving waaaayyy too early cause we are so worried we might be late and annoying the other people around 😅

I have time blindness but anxiety overrides that & I end up trying to be an hour to 30 minutes early for events. The only time I’m late is if I underestimate traffic & if I forget to add time to take my dogs around the block before I leave (because they physically won’t let me leave without giving them a car ride) & if I’m going to be late I text or call anyone it might effect & tell them not to wait for me & if I miss something it’s my own damn fault. Its honestly not hard to not be chronically late you just have to put the effort in. Occasional lateness because something happened or traffic was shit is fine because no one can control those things but if it’s something you can control & you choose not to then that’s rude.

'He showed up on time' mean he showed up at the half hour earlier, because he also had to wait for everyone else to show up. So it's not totally unreasonable to be mad. Makes me think OP is exaggerating how often they're late. Husband is still unreasonable given the story, but I'm suspecting OP did it themselves and just told their husband it was happening (but husband still should have pushed back)
