I do jiffy, butter, eggs, can of cream corn, replace sour cream for the milk, add 3tbsp self rising flour and sometimes a can of hatch green chilies

I found a really really good homemade recipe on line. It’s so easy to make, doesn’t have all the preservatives and most people have all the ingredients on hand. Just need a container of cornmeal

before you pour the mixture put a stick of no salt butter in your pan and let it melt and then pour your mixture in that hot butte,drizzle some honey on top of the mixture then bake it. baby the best buttery crunchy crust you ever had. thank you

Box of jiffy, 1 cup of milk or buttermilk, 2 eggs, 2 or 3 tablespoon of self rising flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2, cup sourcream, 2 block of butter, 375 degrees 23 or 29 minutes and melt butter send drizzle honey on top[Heartwarming]

I messed around and added half a grated apple, cinnamon, sugar, sour cream, milk in the place of water, butter instead of oil, and 2 eggs. When I say moist I mean it. My man ate the whole pan and he don't like cornbread like that.
