60 Seconds With Jesus ✞ Verse : ↓ “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 ESV) Anchor : ↓ The soul in front of you is worth the risk of an uncomfortable conversation. Prayer : ↓ Eternal God & Ever Wise Father, Thank You for bringing us to Yourself through Your Son and entrusting us with the news of His salvation. When concern for our reputation begins to govern our words, turn our attention toward the One we represent. Your Word says, “For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” (2 Corinthians 4:5 ESV) Let that purpose settle deeply within us, so our willingness to speak grows from devotion to Him and sincere love for those who hear. Give us wisdom to recognize an opening and gentleness to enter it well. As we explain what Your Son has accomplished, prepare the listener’s heart to receive Him. In the Mighty and Majestic and Matchless name of our Lord and Savior and soon to return King, Jesus Christ ✞, and all people said Amen, Amen & Amen. #jesus #bible #christian #devotional #verseoftheday - @luis.martinezjr
