@thepigroom: Look, mistakes were definitely made… but that’s how we learn! 🐰🫯🐰 Day one of Vinny and Pauly’s bonding journey definitely did not go exactly how I had hoped, and looking back, there are already a few things I would have done differently. I also took the time to read through the comments (the good, the bad, and everything in between) and I genuinely appreciate the people who shared helpful advice or their own experiences. Rabbit bonding can be such a complicated process, and hearing what has worked for other people can absolutely be useful. That being said, it is kind of funny how quickly some people become certified rabbit bonding experts from behind a keyboard. 😂 There’s a big difference between offering constructive advice and speaking as if there is only one “correct” way to bond rabbits. Every rabbit is different, every pairing is different, and what works perfectly for one bond may not work at all for another. I’m not claiming to be an expert either. I’m learning as I go, paying attention to my rabbits, doing more research, and adjusting my approach based on what I’m seeing from Vinny and Pauly specifically. Stress bond worked amazing for me. We just went for a car ride. I do it at a time we already go for a vet visit or a nail trim. (I can do nail trims BUT I love my local family owned pet shop!)

You should keep trying and keep one bunny in one room and then switch them every couple of days to them to get used to their scent and a medium size wall so they could still see each other and stuff and then try to put them back together again

We started by putting there cages next to each other and after awhile switching there blankets for scent familiarity before letting them freely hangout

copy this so he sees it! @rys.backuppp: Vet tech here! Put them in an x pen and have a divider like the gate that you have up to separate them to prevent fighting and it will get them used to the presence of another rabbit and can help the process go smoothly

before you d stress bonding i’ll give you some tips: first of all the size of the area you used in you’re video was fine. i would recommend some hiding spaces for them just simpel ones that aren’t scented by one of the bunnies yet. so they can hide if they want to during the fighting. 2. i would also advice you to not step between them. they can rip out a bit of fur, bite , scratch it’s normal they’re fighting over their rank order but as soon as there is blood or someone gets injured you should step between. i know it can look really rough but it’s normal. 3. about the territorial thing. i don’t know if you’re bunny you had longer had ever been in this room cause you should use a area they never been it so no one can be territorial viewing it as their space. i can show you some pictures f hiding spots i used while bonding my bunnies. i’ve bonded a lot of bunnies before and helps friends bonding they’re bunnies and so far it always worked good luck with bonding them ❤️

I managed to bond three bunnies (one female, two males all fixed) together once, the brown one (male) had a failed bond previously with another male rabbit (both fixed). Had been trying to bond them for about half a year and wasn’t working but then I was moving and needed to bond all together due to space, managed to establish the bond in a night but the small space definitely helped out. Sadly the Rex passed last year but the other two are still happily bonded together as a F and M pair

Have you tried the vacuum method? They end up relying on each other for comfort and learn to trust each other. Worked wonders for bonding my buns.

for me bonding my bunnies i would put them in separate cages in large spaces with each other being near to get used to scent ( just for you to try if ya wanna)

we show rabbits and we have a ruby red eye rex and a Holland lop both males ( bucks) and when we put them together our Holland lop goes and humps the other thats the only thing we want to put them together but I feel like rex doesn't deserve that what can i do?

Please take both of them on a car ride!!! Rabbits bond when they are scared or in stressfull situations. Worked wonders while I was bonding my babies!!! 🙏

We just had a bonding mishap too with a bloody lip. The rescue told me to do car ride and then bonding session. It's such a commitment! Wishing you luck!

It’s you that’s making it this hard lol like it’s not that hard to put them is two separate pens where they can see each other for a few days then put them together and see how it goes you did that in a different video and only kept a divider for a few minutes
