adding a lane will just mean more cars and it will still be congested and it will just bottleneck farther down the road. it's not a solution.

You say that as if the rest of St Clair is not congested. The problem is too many cars, and one more lane is not a fix. Sure, it may alleviate traffic temporarily, until induced demand happens and it’s back to the same. We need to keep making improvements to transit to get people out of their cars.

I’ve lived in this area forever , on the west end of st Clair they never do anything for us. Now, on the east side of st Clair … well there it’s funny how they make it all possible

Don’t forget about changing the routes along silverthorn making it a one way and adding a bike lane that’s barely used. Lots of cars used that as a shortcut and now there’s so much traffic on Roger’s and st. Clair

it also doesn't work changing the directions of silverthorn and blackthorn and blocking Rockwell to get to old weston rd for bike lanes that are barely used...

"one more lane" no it's fixing the bottleneck between old Weston and Keele cause that section specifically is one lane each direction compared to the rest of st clair which is two lanes each direction. even then it gives you the option to now add bike lanes if you wanted bike lanes for all of st clair.

The northbound lights at the intersection have a left turn priority light but never get activated adding to the congestion.
