I’m so burnt out taking care of my mom. She wandered off yesterday and ended up at the hospital. I’m afraid of dying before her because of the stress. Sad thing is I’ve been loud about my feelings yet I’m alone and no one cares. All I do is cry anymore. 😔

So true . I’m that care giver my life has changed so much try to take care of my 93 year old mother. I have 3 siblings but no help. Not even an offer of water . Family is your worst enemy. 🙏🙏

I got laid off from Saint Leo University after 14 years because I have been taking care of my mom. She needs round the clock care as she has dementia and endstage kidney failure. We can't afford all the high-end care and do it in our home. The knew everything we where going through and how hard I worked to keep my work as high volume as I could. They wanted to know how I did so much and never showed it. I just smiled. I was laid off 4 weeks later. I haven't found a job since.

Amen… it is not for the weak. Trying to enjoy as much time with mom, and provide love and care. But it sure is hard work and my life is put on the back burner.. but she needs me and I will always be here for her the way she was for me. But Lord please give me strength and all that is needed to help my mama and make it through this part of life.. it’s harder for middle aged women as we struggle with the our own wellness/changes. I Love my mom..🧘♀️☀️🦋🙏🫶🏼

That's a hard job. You will lose everything when you take care of someone that you deeply love. I take my head off to caretakers, I take my head off to children's that made the decision to take care of their mother or their father or any of their relatives. That's a very, very hard emotional job and it takes a team, but for some reason, it's only one child that would take care of their loved ones. And that's the one that got treated the worst🙏

I'm a caregiver my client that I'm caring now i took care of her mother for 15yrs she pass at 100th no meds I am now caring for her daughter is 98yrs and I take great care of her, dress her nice take her out . I love my job

I’m my mom care taker I was my dad care taker baby 9 only one took care both parents lost 4 siblings all to cancer 5 of us left don’t get no help from none of my siblings or my kids only one help is God 🙏🙏prayer

My heart goes out to individuals who feel they have to do this. I just couldn’t do it. I would be a depressed mess. I’m not having kids because I don’t want to ever take care of anyone.
