early in my career I picked up a client who had a 72k suspense debit from a previous accountant that had done one big ugly journal to "fix balances" (that was the entire description). No notes, nothing in professional clearance. dropped it in repayments and set it to release over 6 years. Sometimes people are just bad at this 🤣

I started working at my current company in Q4 2024. Already been through the financial audit but now going through a tax audit for that year so I'm panicking that my clean up and correction work in 2024 won't be sufficient or something will be wrong...even though I know it's right...because the moron who was there before me left a giant shit show mess.
