🥺 That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my 47 years. My Houdini was 13 years old, had cancerous masses developing all over his stomach and abdomen, so we had to make that tough decision. I held him tight and bawled as he took his last breath and then the entire way home until we put him into the ground. 2.5 years ago and I still sob when I talk about him. Losing a fur baby is a different type of grief, it hits so hard and not everyone will understand it. Only those who have had that bond will. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones through this difficult time. 🫶😭
