Yes yes yes :
Exactly 👏👏 I can leave the country right now. HOWEVER, I’ve already spent so much money, and I feel like I got scammed into doing a course that’s honestly so bad!! 😩 But I’m not a quitter when it comes to my studies, so I’m going to finish what I started

When an Australian citizen pays 22k a year an international student pays 60k a year. This need to be revised

PLS keep speaking on this! Colleges in Australia, Canada, and even the US (sorry!) have been exploiting mostly people students from poorer countries who are looking for a chance at a better life. They go into debt and even sell land to attend universities in Australia.

When I first applied- the selling point was the TR after studies but once I got there, they removed the TR for people above 35 - spent so much to reach Australia and wasn’t even allowed to apply for TR to look at some job options 😂

Why did you choose to study in Australia?

smithy :
The problem is that students are using studying in Australia to access citizenship and family reunification. I can tell you a $200,000 - $500,000 payment for a degree is not nearly enough to get a permanent right to stay in Australia.

student visas work like this worldwide though. if you were hightailing it out of the states because of the state of things you had to realise Australia, as a once close trade partner, would be severely impacted by the same fuckery.
