the entire point of a Cupcake cake is I thought the ease of being able to pull it apart and you can use different flavours to suit different people I'd also say that it might be a more accessible way for people to start decorating as you could make it fairly simple and you don't even have to bake if you don't want to you could easily buy some cupcakes level them off and put them together with icing on top
