@racheladamslee: 🥂✨ I’m in Calistoga celebrating my birthday with my girlfriends, and yes, it took planning to get here. I have four babies. I run two companies. At any given moment, someone needs a snack, a ride, an answer, a decision, or a piece of me. And I love this beautiful, full life more than I could ever explain. But being a good mom does not mean I have to disappear inside motherhood. Sometimes I need to get dressed up, laugh until my stomach hurts, eat a meal without cutting up anyone else’s food, sip champagne with my girlfriends, and remember that I am still Rachel too. My babies are loved. My businesses will still be there. And taking a few days to celebrate myself does not erase everything I do for everyone else. Mamas, book the dinner. Take the trip. Get the massage. Say yes to the girls’ weekend. You are allowed to love your babies deeply and still need time away. Send this to the mama who needs permission to choose herself too. 🤍 & shout-out to the hubby, the nanny & our parents who are holding the fort down so I can be present here & keep my babies alive!
