@babygenieapp: Your newborn sounds stuffy and congested, so they must be getting sick. This is a myth… That loud, stuffy newborn breathing can sound scary, especially when you’re listening to every little noise. Newborns have tiny nasal passages, so even a small amount of mucus can make their breathing sound surprisingly congested. 👃 Newborns mostly breathe through their nose, especially during feeding. 💧 A little mucus can sound much louder than you’d expect. 🚨 Watch for signs of breathing difficulty, including ribs pulling in, nostrils flaring, persistent grunting, blue or gray coloring, or trouble feeding. If something about your baby’s breathing feels concerning, contact your pediatrician. Save this for one of those middle-of-the-night spiral moments. Follow along so you don’t miss the next one! #NewbornCare #NewbornTips #FirstTimeParents #BabyCareTips #BabyGenieApp
