Yes! why are we so quick to jump, correct, criticise? Unless it's immediately safety or danger concern, this is absolutely such intentional parenting! & it's so automatic to correct prematurely instead of allowing them to figure it out. It involves being present (which I struggle with especially during stress) this was a perfect reminder! Thankyou!

As a former baking student - we learnt how to make a cake just this way but on the bench. We had to cream the butter and sugar by hand and add everything else just like this.

love this, reminds me of a family members kid when we all went for dinner they saw us afults cutting food so they wanted to too ❤️this kid did so well for a first go, they were sat next to me so all I did was held the plate steady
