@whiskeytoller: It’s gone. I made it. I’m on the other side. God brought me through the darkest days and I know He will continue to give me strength. I’m so grateful for my husband, he is truly an angel of a human being. He takes on so much and is the rock of our family. I’m so thankful for my family and friends, for the people who checked in and supported us and held our hands, cried with us, and can now celebrate with us. I’m so grateful for my pets. They brought me joy when I thought I couldn’t keep my head up. They lifted my spirits when I had nothing in me left. They gave me reasons to laugh, to do what I love, and to always have someone with me 24/7. I am especially grateful that Oakley got me through till the end. He held on for me, he wanted to be here for me to make sure I was taken care of. I’m still struggling to believe it all and to process everything.
