Don’t speak about an area if you haven’t been there for 10 years. I live in Sunbury and it’s lovely. Close to the city really and airport access is great.

It defs not on the middle of nowhere! It’s 10 minutes from the airport!! Plenty of airport workers look for rentals this way. It’s also 10 minutes from Tullamarine which is a major working hub. This helps vacancy rates. There is also truly not plenty of places that you can get cheaper property for 700k closer to the city. Anyway to each their own. My investment does great out here and maybe it’s best if people stay away 🤷♀️

Sunbury is great. 25 mins drive to the airport. Vline and metro trains to the city. Having bought here 6 months ago.. can confirm places don’t stay on the market long at all. House prices haven’t dropped like other areas.

I'm a 100% certified hater of suburbs that aren't in the inner ring. take me out of inner suburbs and I die, and yet I love sunbury 😂 I worked there for a few years and the people are lovely, the centre of town has everything you need.

I always find it so interesting that people never mention the type of property. A 3 bedroom house on a 500 square metre property is a more sound investment than an apartment in Essendon, or a townhouse in Caroline Springs
