playing QB is fucking insanely hard. Tons of guys have the physical gifts but MOST of the guys with physical gifts will fail miserably. This is exactly why a rookie should 1000000000000000% sit his first year unless the starter gets hurt. How many "generational" talents have been ruined by bad organizations starting them too soon and they can't handle it. It's not the physical game they can't handle,it's EVERYTHING else,the call,the protection,knowing EVERY guys assignment,knowing the possible defenses,the possible blitz's, knowing the audibles,knowing the game situation,clock,down and distance,the score etc etc. College ball is INSANELY simplified for players and the level of competition,even at the highest level,is a joke compared to the NFL. The worst teams in the NFL still have 53 NFL caliber players,a GREAT college team MIGHT have 10,and that's the BEST college teams,the national championship caliber teams
