If God is truly all-powerful, perfectly just, and infinitely merciful, why must He sacrifice Himself before He can forgive? If sin supposedly separates us from God, why couldn’t an all-powerful God restore that relationship through repentance and forgiveness? And if justice requires punishment, why punish an innocent person for someone else’s sin? Saying God can do everything except forgive without bloodshed seems like a limitation imposed on His own mercy and justice.
