@astronaia: This month marks 10 years since I swore in as a civil servant at NASA through the pathways program. Celebrating with some fresh headshots 🚀 On 9/6/16, I was freshly 19 years old, a sophomore in undergrad, had a daily 2 hour train commute to work, and I was the definition of bright eyed and bushy tailed because I was already living my dream. 10 years later I’m freshly 29 years old, a Doctor of Philosophy of aerospace engineering, converted full-time aerospace engineer, recently published two journal articles, and full of vision of how I want to contribute to and improve this industry that I love dearly. There were countless times over those 10 years that I lost faith in my ability to be exactly where I am now. But I thank God that I held on to see this moment come full circle.
