Aries beat Tracy Williams with a brainbuster in an opening round match on Thursday's MLW Fusion, the show's first episode on Tubi. Williams had him in an STF late, and Aries bit his arm to escape before hitting a neckbreaker and the brainbuster. Before the match, Aries said: "I am the greatest professional wrestler in Major League Wrestling. I am the greatest professional wrestler in this business. So now I'm gonna win the Opera Cup, so there's no more confusion who I am." Aries could draw Mistico in the second round. Mistico eliminated him in last year's semifinals, and the two team next week at Fightland against Killer Kross and Josh Bishop. Also: the Good Brothers defended the MLW World Tag Team titles in Sri Lanka, and Karl Anderson said CJ Gallows makes his MLW singles debut "in just a few weeks." MLW Fusion streams Thursdays at 8 PM ET on Tubi.
